The Idea-Driven Equities Analyses company (“the IDEA!”) is an employee-owned research boutique that was founded in the summer of 2007.

The company provides idea-driven and tailor-made research on the Dutch market to a restricted group of investment professionals.
An important element where the IDEA! differentiates itself from the traditional (integrated) investment banks is that it has opted for a research-only model. Therefore, the IDEA! is not engaged in trading and order execution. The reason for this is that the company prefers to have the same focus as its clients: good ideas that bring performance. On top of that, the IDEA! refrains from any corporate business in order to guarantee an independent voice.

Its two founders, Henk Slotboom and Maarten Verbeek combine over 40 years of experience in the investment industry. In this period, they have not only accumulated in-depth knowledge of the Dutch market but also built an extensive network of corporate, institutional and other contacts that can be used to the beneficiary of their clients.
